hohoho! im finally back from obs camp! wheeeeeeeeeeeeee! actually it is not a camp la i dunno how to say it..anyw, obs was tiring de lor, i sort of almost died dere due to how tiring it was. at first, i regretted goin yea..

day1,
i had to go to sch and we had a bus to charter us to obs reception centre, then from the reception centre we took a boat at the puggol jetty to obs camp 2. perly, karin and me went to totally diff grps. karin - armstrong, perly- cheng ho, me - amundsen. our groups consists of 2 schools, nan chiau high and st anthony's canossian sec sch.(girls sch) first we went to the MPH to do some ice breaking games i tink. after that we went to the store to take our things and put down our heavy bags. den we went to kayak. haha we had to do capsize drill so we had to capsize. haha so i paired up with wen huiden we rock the boat rock many many times, the things still cant turn over so funny la..haha den after tt quickly went to bathe, toilet was acceptable tho..den went to go for outdoor cooking was fun la. den later night time nid to pitch tent if not no place to sleep de place
was super muddy coz it was raining in the evening before. we have to pitch in the dark but what to do la. use torchlight lor. den went to sleep le on the muddy grassy ground.

day 2,
in the morning we had to keep our tents. so ma fan la packin and pitching the tents. we had breakfast together it was uh...ration food lyk biscuit and bread tt will be our breakfast supper and lunch so suck la some of the food not nice one. den we did teambuilding games it help to bond some ppl together and it was fun building trust among each other. there was this falling thingy where a person haf to fall and ppl below have catch them with a some stretcher thing. den later in the afternoon we had to do abseiling and i abseil on a big rock lor den i first go down tt time den hit my back den got bruise la suay now still pain siian sia..den later we had to wait for a lot of ppl to finish it took lyk hours for everyone to abseil lor. but the abseiling was fun it was not lyk a normal plain wall but it a rock where there a many things protruding out and best of all it is not man made lawls. den later we had to pack our bags soon so tt we could trek to our campsite and pitch our tent. unfortunately it was raining and we had to cook in the camp2 haiz. after our dinner we nightwalk with our heavy bags on our backs to the campsite in the forest. scary la but quite fun altho it was muddy and wet and we had to step on stones. when we had the night walk we can hear loads of sounds lyk frog croaking and crickets, just the sound that one could not get to hear often la. haha den we reached the campsite, we had to agn pitch our tent in the dark and do our 'business' in the wild lyk brushing teeth peeing and shiting. for the whole day we did nto bathe lor. it was sick la but fun. den later at nite we had to be watchman, taking turn look after the boat out in the sea. wth la.

day 3,
we started our land expedition. we first had some games la to see who could start off first. in the end, cheng ho started off first, then amundsen and armstrong. but later cheng ho took a long time to pack up and decide on where they shud go so amundsen, my watch, start off first yay! we had to carry out 10KG++backpack and walk for 6hours a long journey la. first, we went to the place of interest called the german girl shrine,it was nothing much coz i dun believe in such things la. haha! den later when we were eating there, it rained so we had to wait for the rain to stop, with cheng ho tt group. denlater it stopped raining and we continued our journey. the journey was idiotic la, so many mosquitos and many leaf litter siian lehs. den we had to go to 2 checkpoints and guess the quotes written there, thru a game called charades. hehe. den later while we were trekking to camp 2 it was raining agn so we had to walk quickly with our HEAVY BACKPACKS ON US LA. we waiting for the rain to stop and continued out journey to camp 1. we were the first to reach tho. and unfortunately tho camp 1 was nice we had to pitch out tents in leaf litters, were dere are rocks ants and many other weird animals lawls. camp 1 provided us with dinner,supper and breakfast and we were happy haha and most of all the toilet was clean.hehe!

day 4,
we started our sea expedition, we kayak for 9 hours siao la out in the sea and swamp with the 2 other groups. i partnered with perly hehe and it was cool lor. altho our hands hurt. haha. sad to say tt we kayak in the rain and not under the sun lor. the water lvl was raising andwe often noes into branches and things tt are disgusting the water was murky and aiya bo pian. we had to have our lunch on the kayak siao rite? wd to do.den later we had to pull our kayaks across roads and muddy swamps so dirty la no choice. u must be tinking that the instructors tell us where to go. sorry, but they did not coz they wan us to read the map lor. suay la. so in the end the sea ex leaders had to find their way thru the swamp. i ought to thank them hehe!

day 5,
finally we could go home! we had to clean everything up and not the toilet hehe. no one clean the toilet yay! but we had to clean things lyk our yellow poncho our tents our blue tard utensils everything la. den we took boat back to punggol jetty and buy souveniers. i bought 2 shirts and 1 notebook hehe. den my mum cam to pick me yay~

i have to say tt i learnt a lot during this obs camp/journey and that it was fun but TIRING. even the guys that came with us became more gentlemanly during this camp cool rite? haha! i wan to thank the land ex leaders and sea ex leaders for their hardwork too! I SURVIVED THE OBS CAMP!
